made of wood?

Conversation I overheard in the car park after swimming this afternoon. Child of about 3 with mum and dad.

Mum: "Because it's old"

Boy: "Oh"

Pause while he thinks for a bit

Boy: "Can they not afford a new one like us then?"

Dad then cuts in: "Son, that is a CLASSIC. We need to work on this - your education is clearly lacking!"

I did chuckle. Sepia in honour of her vintage. And because it means you can't tell how badly her wood needs stripping and re-treatiing ;-)
