The Mess

Work again today, no calls yet! As it is Sunday today we decided to do a lamb roast together! The Pump went out and did the shopping then we all chipped in and got the roast ready. There are six firefighters stationed here so a nice number to cook for!

Our kitchen is called 'the mess' and is the place where a lot of discussion, banter, reading of the paper and eating occurs. Today it was also filled with beautiful smells and the sounds of cutlery clinking on plates as we eagerly devoured the wonderful roast!
