Meet Liz

Meet Liz.

Liz is a woman I met today for the first time. I met her because she works for the same pharmaceutical company that my wife works for, and because she was doing the Race for Life in aid of Cancer Research UK in Basingstoke. She's a lovely lady who also happens to be a cancer survivor.

A lot of the ladies who take part in this run carry messages on their backs saying who they're running in memory of. Liz had a wonderful note on her back saying:

"I race for life for: Myself and my pal Kirsty who made it. And for all of those who didn't, including my Dad"

Congratulations Liz, you did yourself, Kirsty and your Dad proud.
