RED DOOR

A lovely trot round the village with Hellonwheels this afternoon, which included several nice pieces of horseflesh, what with the travellers en route from Appleby Fair, and a thoroughbred whose rider Hell knew and I got to pat, though not for long as it was eager to be off.

But it just goes to show what you can miss in the hurly burly of life and many blip opportunities were revealed on our walk.

I can only guess that the curve above this door was to allow for the safe passage of carriages, or, very tall people. It is has been sympathetically painted and retains all its character. And is another example of the views I would have missed pre-Blipfoto. This has really opened my eyes. Thank you everyone.

And thanks S for a good afternoon; and no worries, the Yorkshire pud etc was absolutely fine.
