I have been past this fallen tree many times and resisted my inner artyfartyness - but today I dropped Auds off at Ashurst Station (gateway to the New Forest the sign says a bit like Balham..... gateway to the South, if you don't know that Peter Sellers sketch check it out)
On the way back I was gripped by artyfartyness and was compelled to take this pic.
Best thing was I was getting back into the car I realised that it was almost totally silent apart from a few birds. Ahhhhhhh calmness
