The Eye

I've been meaning to take a photo of this building since I started blipping, and the photogenic sky made it seem right to do it today.

This is a 13-storey building called 'The Eye' in Bristol's new Temple Quay development. It's empty at the moment and it is probably still being fitted out.

There are contrasting reports on what it will be used for. I've read on my own company's website that it will be for residential accommodation, but other sources say it will have a mix of business and retail firms.

It's a pretty striking building with spectacular views from its upper storeys. I love the glass front and the overall shape, which can be seen in this image. If it is residential, reserve me the penthouse!
