Rockefeller Center
So I decided to take a short journey during my lunch break today to Rockefeller Center. This is a picture of the statue next to the steps leading down to the ice skating rink (that is covered and used as outdoor seating for a restaurant in the summer).
At Christmastime, the famous New York City Christmas Tree stands just outside the view of this picture. After taking a few quick pictures, I wandered into the NBC store, which I have been in in the past, but I was in there for a purpose: to buy myself the giant tennis ball that Dr. House plays with when solving mysterious diseases in the TV show House. Mission Accomplished. Maybe there will be a blip of that to come soon...I'll save it for a day of little inspiration.
Overall, today was pretty good. I wish we had more first days of summer and sunshine that lasts this long. I don't like when the hours of sunlight get less and less.
And now for a running update: today went pretty well. I ate too much for dinner, which both helped and hindered my performance. The good news is that I am slowly sinking into running two miles in a decent amount of time.
Backblip to come eventually..
