More Manhattan Wanderings..
Took a walk again at lunch today to the H&M on 5th Avenue and 43rd? Street. I wanted a romper, but didn't see any and the store was so packed that I had to leave.
So, I walked around by Grand Central Station for a little bit, got a few idears for future blips and ended up with this shot of Grand Central Station itself, another NYC landmark.
Hopefully I can go on another journey tomorrow, but I still have six weeks left in my internship, so I don't want to go through all my blip ideas too quickly..
Backblipped for June 20th finally!
And now for the 8:50 running news:
I pulled up to the track just as it was starting to rain. In my opinion, rainy summer days are the best days to be outside and rain is the best to go running in. I only ran a mile today because I didn't feel like fighting too hard with the weather, but it was okay because I finally ran a decent mile time at 7:51! Woohoo!
There was this guy there who finished a half a mile in the same amount of time it took me to run a quarter mile and in the amount of time it took walkers to walk 200 meters. I've never seen him before and I thought he was one of the cross country boys that I used to run with, but he wasn't..
He was so fast that when he ran passed me I seriously thought lightning was striking. He was well passed me by the time I blinked.
