Out of the Vase

I couldn't have imagined a busier day. It was a mixture of grey and diffused dull yellow. I decided it was long enough since I had cycled to office and gave it a shot today. And given how I remained glued to my screen with no respite work, cycling was a good idea indeed. A good way to work up some steam when the mind is droopy with fatigue and the body in dire need for some movement.

The best bit of the day was when I returned home to the smell of the delicious dinner S was cooking, and the cool AC under which I stood for a while to watch the last couple of minutes of France's defeat against South Africa while beads of sweat continued to pour down my forehead. I don't remember much from the day gone by. Not much time for anything really. Not much time to complain either.
