Under the subway bridge

This picture was taken in the Jackson Heights area of Queens, New York - a place about 20 blocks from where I am currently living. JH is a multi-ethnic (predominantly Hispanic, Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi, Chinese), vibrant neighbourhood with plenty of good and cheap cafes/restaurants, and shops.

When I was crossing the main street - Roosevelt Street - I was struck by the way the light was filtering through from underneath the subway bridge. And hence this shot.
