Dartford Tunnel
The roads in the South of England are so much busier than what we're used to in Scotland. Driving is so much more difficult when the roads are so busy. I was Friday afternoon though, and the rush hour may have been early because of the England match. We got stuck in a 'longitudinal wave' traffic jam - seven times we slowed to a stop, waited, then back up to speed, the slowed to a stop again!
We got back to Collingham at about 4:30 and had bolied eggs for tea. Dad gave Anne and I a lift to the Red Deer to watch England vs Algeria. A very poor performance from England yet again (0-0). England now has to win next Wednesday against Slovenia to qualify for the last 16.
