Forty Two Of My 'Closest' Friends...PROM!!
Senior Prom.
Woke up quote early to go to the school and return a library book ensuring that I will indeed be recieving a diploma at graduation! Yay!! Then got my hair and make-up done. Ruined my manicure by searching around in a bag that unbeknown to me a pen had exploded in. Fretted while the sky turned an omnious color, the winds picked up, and thunder and lightning started. Sighed when it all stopped minutes later leaving branches on the ground. And then prom picture began...
Hair And Makeup
The first round held at my house was the three cousins (Katie, Sammy, and myself) and Twass (sams date) and of course Anthony Darlingggg. We all looked quite dapper and stunning in our respective dresses and tuxedos. Smiled a lot, looked pretty, and took every single picture combination logically possible.

Then we headed to Demi's for more pictures. There was 42 teens plus their parents/grandparents/siblings/etc making it a bit hectic and a teensy bit overwhelming. It was also disgustingly hot out by this point. Insert more smiles, picture combinations, and confusion as to what camera to look at when. But we all looked great and by the time 5:30 rolled around we were sweaty and our mouths hurt from smiling quite so much.
A Few of the lovely ladies
At 5:30 we headed over to Forest Lake where our giant bus was supposed to pick us up. The party bus was awesome. Flashing lights, music, etc. Very cool and a lot of fun. The bus consisted of my closest friends...the people who they consider their closest friends...and the people we felt bad for. Bringing our total to 42...
On the bus
Prom itself was amazing. Woodbury country club was absolutely gorgeous, the food was great, the dancing was obnoxious. In comparison to the amount of people in my grade the dance floor was tiny. Bodies were crushed against eachother, my toes got stepped on many times (mostly by Twass.), and it was incredibly difficult to execute the sprinkler move with so many people. But it was still a great time and eventually most of the people left early so our bus was the only ones left on the floor (First ones there...last ones to leave thats how we roll).

The Core Four Plus Me
We then got changed into our afterparty clothes and headed to the city. (Around 11:30) More dancing was done on the way there on the bus. We got to the city (Around 1) and boarded on a 'After Prom Cruise Ship' advertised quite nicely for such a dingy thing. My favorite part as Jackie mentioned was the "Red Carpet Entrance" which turned out to be a dingy red rug...I also enjoyed watching the boys get patted down. The boat was incredibly sketch and a bit decript. The other schools in attendance (It wasnt my school that went it was just my bus) were a bit scary and also very sketchy. But we managed to enjoy ourselves anyway. Did some more dancing. (At this point you think I'd be exhausted and sick of dancing...Yes I was tired of dancing...but not tired in general). The view of Manhattan was pretty nice and it was actually nice out so we could be outside. Exited the ship around 4am and went back to our party bus...Insert more dancing and singing on the way home as well.
=] All in all I had an amazinggggg night!!!!!! Really great and most certainly unforgettable. I'm in need of sleep. Staying up from 8am to 5:30 am the next day is rough. And five hours of sleep isnt enough to live on. BUT Graduation is in several hours!!!! =] =] =] =] These are the best days of my life.
