Chinese Paeony after rain

We had no rain yesterday, on Midsummer's Eve - that's remarkable! Today it was windy and rather cool in the morning and we had rain for half an hour - not much. Then the sun came out again and we had a lovely afternoon.

Yesterday was warm and mostly sunny - a really nice day and evening. Our friend N came over for a meal at our allotment - we had a great time catching up. Tonight we're going to his place to continue the chat. :-)
