Job done

Another glorious day, so we headed for the countryside for a spot of strawberry-picking.

There are one or two pick-your-own farms relatively close to where we live, but we decided to head for one further afield that we have visited in the past.

Brand Green Fruit Farm is a lovely oasis of calm near Newent and it boasts splendid views over the Vale of Gloucester.

We were told the strawberries were not so good this year, but we still managed to find enough for our needs, plus a few gooseberries for a crumble.

A lovely afternoon in the countryside. Can't wait to sample the fruits of our labours.
