Hybernating?

R snr was taking his motorbike through the garage to the back yard to 'spit and polish' it when C shouted I must bring the camera!!!

This wee darling was obviously hybernating in a corner behind the rolled up hosepipe and when R took it away, he was just sitting there, motionless, eyes opening slowly, but the eye facing the sun could not open completely, the light was too sharp!

I took a few shots, then R picked it up and carried it to a nearby open plot with lots of places to hide! I really hope it will find a safe place to resume it's hybernation!!

Just praying the eagle wont find it before it gets a place to hide! :-(
