Oh Hai!

I always thought moorhens were timid birds, any other time I've seen them they've kept their distance. But today this guy came out of the lake and walked straight up to me, in fact almost too close for my lens to focus on him! If I had tried I'm pretty sure he would have eaten out of my hand.

As always there were loads of people around the park with bread, so I was shunned by the ducks, geese, gulls and coots. The moorhen don't seem to like the horrible processed crap, he preferred the nice grain mix I brought :)
