Deep Eddy

Today T and I went to Deep Eddy pool. My apartment pool has become uncomfortably warm from the Texas heat. Deep Eddy is fed by a cold spring and is chilly and refreshing, especially when the temp is near 100. We spent 3 hours here, complete with a picnic of Thundercloud Subs. It was a great time, just me and my boy.
We had dinner with Grandpa at Waterloo Ice House and then watched a movie (The Tale of Desperaux) back at Grandpa's house. Grandma is in Houston to be with her sister at MD Anderson cancer research center. We are all praying for my aunt, who has just been diagnosed with a rare form of lymphoma. Thank goodness she's is one of the best cancer centers. Love her.
