Spotted this gorgeous, single red rose on Saturday but didn't have my camera with me. Found myself walking along the same street in Newington yesterday by chance and so caught it. I liked the window frame in the background and the stonework - although you don't see the stonework in the shot. It was in someone's front garden and so I was met by the lady owner halfway up the front stairs, while poking my camera through the railings. Luckily she was friendly and BB was lurking in the background ready to explain what I was up to!
