Planet lettuce

Cleaning up the kitchen and found this slice of planetary life, or little gem lettuce, as it's otherwise known.

Spent ages jazzing around with tripod, overhead light, no light, ISO, aperture, and using a remote control so as not to jog the camera. Still not very happy with it. ISO 800 means a bit of noise, but I'm too tired to go back and try again, cos it's been a long day.

So inhabitants of planet lettuce, I wish you a good night, while I dream of salad days.
