Swim Lessons

Today after taking MeeMaw on her errands...Landon had his first swim lessons of the season. He was fearless as usual and was swimming to Coach Denis by the end of the first lesson. This is his second season of taking lessons with Denis (he took them last year at 3-yrs.-old) and loves the pool. Denis taught Loren and Liam to swim (I believe this was the 7th year total of swim lessons through him). My favorite quote of the day happened to come from Denis today. He said 'I didn't know a rock could swim!' He was referring to Landon being a solid mass of boy who feels like a sack of bricks. It's quite deceiving to look at him, you wouldn't guess it. Then you go to pick him up and your back is paying the price for a week! Hard to believe he was once a 5 pound preemie.

We spent some time today at Linda's house when I went to pick up Liam. The boys had fun playing hide-and-seek on their 4 acres of land and Landon had a blast jumping from the tree to the trampoline. It brought back memories of what I did as a little girl...jumping from the top of my swing set or tree to my trampoline slicked with dish soap :D Cody & Liam gave up looking for Loren but didn't bother to tell him. They went in the house to play video games while Loren was left in his hiding spot the whole time! Poor kid!
