SIGN OF THE TAKAHE

The sign of the Takahe is an Historic Building with N.Z National significance.
Built from 1918 as a staging post on the scenic Summit Road on the Port Hills above Christchurch City.
Now used as a wedding/ funtion centre and fine dining resturant.
The Building is flanked by two native Golden Totara trees.
