Red Wing Blackbird
I stopped off at North Chagrin Reservation today midway between my bone density scan and a visit to a friend at her rehab facility. It wasn't the time of day to get the best light, but the blackbirds, herons, and all didn't know that, and they put on a show. Choosing a blip was a challenge, but I finally settled on the blackbird who was showing off his colors. I stood almost right beneath him and blipped him with my 70-300mm lens. I posted some of the other pictures in my Smugmug gallery.
In addition to a good blipping day, we also had a near perfect weather day. The temperature was in the low 70s and the sun was shining in a brilliant blue sky. June at its best! Hope you had a good day too.
