Zedonk

Today we visited Groombridge Place, Groombridge on the East Sussex/Kent border near Tunbridge Wells. These are lovely gardens next to the so called 'Enchanted Forest' where you will find many strange things! There was an exhibition of falconry, flying several birds of prey and then there was this! A Zedonk (also known as a Zonkey). This is a hybrid resulting from the mating of a male Zebra and a female Donkey. This one is called 'Adam' and he was born in Florida, USA and then was shipped over to the UK.
