Cherry Tree

I planted a cherry tree in my garden nearly 25 years ago and have never had a single cherry from it. This is because every year the pesky birds, mainly Pigeons, Magpies and Jays eat them as soon as they reach pea size. However to my surprise this year the tree is full of full sized bright red cherries and today I sampled one for the very first time! Well it was worth the wait!
