Californian Poppy

Since Tony has been digging the allotment this season, the Californian poppies have been taking over the compost heap and springing up between the potato plants. We took a walk up there this evening because Tony had spotted that the rhubarb was turning some interesting colours as it died away. There were lots of blipportunities but I settled on this poppy closing up for the night.
