Bavaria Babes in Brussels

Quarter-final time: the Netherlands - Brazil! And I am very excited to report that the Netherlands has won! 2-1! The last time the Netherlands beat Brazil in a World Cup was in 1974! :)

Before the game started a friend of mine organised a get-together of the Brussels "Bavaria Babes". We were wearing the infamous Bavaria Dutch Dresses, to show our support to the two Dutch girls that were arrested in South Africa because they were wearing them.

At the first World Cup game of The Netherlands vs. Denmark, Dutch beer brand Bavaria devised a stunt in which 36 models wearing these orange minidresses sneaked into the game. They were arrested and criminal charges were brought against two Dutch women. Luckily a week later that charges were dropped and they could fly home to the Netherlands. More on the story here.
