I love EU

To celebrate Belgium taking over the EU Presidency from Spain, a big concert (I love EU) was organised tonight. The Presidency of the EU rotates between the EU member states every six months.

It was a big spectacle with loads of different artists, light shows, dancers and acrobats. Of course there were also fireworks, culminating in one vast pyrotechnic blast lighting the sky over the European Parliament!

When the show was over the crown prince of Belgium and his wife, who had also attended the show, walked past us at a two-metre distance! Funny!
