Wafting Surprise

Feeling ecstatic about my first blip, I became so discriminating for my second one. It was to a point that I have decide to shoot or not. I was fast losing available light. So I just went to my father's vegetable garden across our house to see if there were any interesting subjects.

As I was about to cross the street, this young papaya tree stood out from the jungle of vines and pumpkins and leaves. For the past five years, we have been trying to grow papaya to no avail. So this tree is a blessing after a long dry summer of 2010. After I took the picture of its small flower, i was really surprised when I saw a kind of natural vignette around it. So I just enhanced it a bit with Adobe Photoshop.

When I got closer to this papaya flower, i briefly caught a natural perfume wafting from its center. A nice surprise indeed.
