Everybody loves a parade.....

This is my brother and his oldest son posing in front of one of the village fire trucks just before the beginning of our summer festival parade. The volunteer fire department either leads the parade or comes at the end. Either way, it's great to see the trucks all shined up and the fire fighters out in uniform. As with all little boys, my nephew loved the trucks and wanted his picture taken. However, his younger brother would have none of it......

We are very thankful for these men and women who are members of our local volunteer fire department.
