meet Fanny the Fox and Matilde

The little princess has out-grown her cradle. So, now it is home for all her toys. Well, most of them anyway.

Fanny the Fox (Kaisa Kettu in Finnish) is a hand made fox by one of my wife's relative. It has a real fox tail. It's so cute & beautiful. I am hoping that she will enjoy it once she grows a bit. We cannot give it to her just yet, as she would definitely try to eat the tail, which is very furry and thus feels soft.

Matilde is a doll made by someone living in the Archipelago for Unicef to be sold. So, money from buying this little beauty has gone for a good cause.

So, until she's old enough, this will not be within her reach. It's hers anyway.

What it comes to what I've been up to today; left from the summer cottage bit early not to spend any time on the ferry queue. And to drop my sister-in-law and her son (my godson) to train station early enough so that they would not need to travel late in the evening.

The little princess have learnt not to be afraid of the boat trip anymore. Nowadays she just sits on her mother's lap and enjoys the ride.

Once home, I went to the local household appliance store and bought us a second freezer. So, soon it starts - a massive effort to freeze all possible berries one can imagine to get from Finland.

Will be blipping both the effort and the outcome.
