I didn't mean to hurt you....
When you make your child sad, your heart breaks a little bit.
I didn't mean to make her sad, but I did. We had tickets for the recording of a TV Show today, the tickets didn't guarantee entry, but as long as you were there in plenty of time, you should get in. Doors opened at 3.15. We were there at 3.30. We were told there were almost 50 people in front of us who were already on the Reserve list, and would only be seated if the Production Guests didn't turn up. Hmmm. This was on top of the 180 who were already ticketed. The first people had turned up at 9 am!
We decided to sit. A lot of people were. After an hour, they started feeding folk in. After 80 minutes, they started on the reserve list, and only took 15 folk. We are guaranteed more tickets, for the second last or last show. So next time, I will go up at 11. And wait. I will not disappoint my daughter again.
The thing that made her sadder, was that we overheard someone who was having a dream come true talking, - about rehearsing with Diversity on stage..... she was devastated at that.
I really didn't think John Barrowman was so popular!
Despite a daughter chosen supper, and a piece of chocolate fudge cake, she doesn't seem much happier. Nothing to be done, than wait for the sunshine to come out again.
Its always there.... however far in the distance it seems.
