Snake!

Kurt was staying at Joe and Bev's house today so Spence and I went over and Spence had a play with him. As soon as Spence saw Kurt he ran up to him with arms spread wide to give him a big hug! It was so lovely. They had a great time playing in the backyard while I spoke to Bev. We heard Joe call out from the back corner of the yard where his wood shed is. We walked over and Joe said that he had found a snake! Joe had hit it with the shovel so it wasn't going anywhere. It was about 40cm long and about 1cm thick, grey on top and white underneath. Joe had been lifting some old tin that was laying on the ground and it was curled up underneath that. It was fairly small so I just wonder where it's parents are!!

It was a lovely day today, blue sky and no wind. I went out looking for a blip and found that there are still a couple of flowers hanging around on the rose bushes. This one was on a bush that had a completely yellow rose fully open as well. I liked the two tone effect!
