A brilliant British beach

When the sun shines on UK shores I'd argue there are few places that can match its magnificent scenery.

Today I took a stroll through Sidmouth and really marvelled at the effect the sun, sea and a beautiful setting can have on uplifting your very soul.

I hope this photo conveys a little bit of that wow factor - I walked through a garden and this was my view - I took a big breath and thought 'lucky me, I get to stand here staring at this for a good long while'. Happy? Just a little bit!
