Forever young

On this particular Friday evening, a group of musicians got together to celebrate the delivery of their CD - and what better way to celebrate than by making music? YES! Three 80+ musicians, plus two 40-something musicians + a 50-something vocalist made a CD, and it sounds darned good! The two musicians here are in their mid 80's. The trumpet player lives in a residence where I work. The bass player on the CD (also in his 80's) was unable to make the party.

I know musicians from their early 20's to the gentlemen pictured above, but as Satchel Page once said, "How old would you be if you didn't know how old you were?" Music is ageless, and I've found that so are the souls of the people who make it happen!
