From California, with love

Meet my cousin Karen and her husband Carl. Hadn't seen them since 1994 when I was in their (Palo Alto) neighborhood for what turned out to be my last three Grateful Dead shows (Jerry Garcia died a year later). Karen and Carl were in Minneapolis for the Unitarian-Universalist Convention, and we got together Sunday afternoon after it ended. I took them to the Loring Pasta Bar near the University of Minnesota, where we hung out and played catch-up. Let's hear it for reunions!
