Had a day off, bought toilet roll and a juicer.

Pat story of the day;

8 am I notice Pat has left without her glasses, so I phone her mobile, 'Oh it is fine, I have a spare pair at work.'

8:30 Phone call. 'Um, can't find my spare pair, will you bring in my glasses, you know I can't see a thing without them.'

10:30 At reception I ask the receptionist to tell Pat I'm here with her glasses. The receptionist goes away and comes back to say she has sent an e-mail.

'Um, could you phone her? You see I know she won't read the e-mail.'

The receptionist looks dubious.

'I know she won't, you see I've got her glasses.
