Kicking Sand for the Dog
Today, after a rather dry period I had about 45 images which would all have made great blips but this was the best. Our neighbours who are expert beach combers collected sand eels, toad crabs, hermit crabs, brittle star fish, flat fish, other fish, strange wormy things (to look at) along with two dozens spoots for their tea (yum).
Their daughter is very much loved by our dog. She used to lean out of her pushchair towards Flossie and say 'og'. She has a lovely quiet way with animals and they trust her (even when, as a toddler, she used to examine Flossie's ears, open her mouth to count her teeth Flossie was totally relaxed). Today she discovered Flossie's favourite game.
