Grasshopper meets child #2 - holidays day 5
Today we headed West and rather unbelievably met friends from home. We were a tad slow getting away hence maintained our record of always arriving slightly later then planned. Something to do with not wearing a watch methinks.
Lunch at the neighbours campsite, where Holland supporters were all very excited for the evening's game. We had a swim at the pool, there is something to be said for campsites like that where everything you might want or need is on the door step.
We got caught up in some major traffic issues on the Quimperle Peripherique, the population must be about 7000, eventually turned tail and were soon speeding to see Madame's uncle Jean Louis and Monique.
Having driven to this house already about 7 times it never ceases to amaze me how I always fail to find it without having to do at least one about turn. In general it takes me one visit to find a place again but there must be something in the mysterious woodland hameau that throws me. Even the sat nav only got 'nearish'.
We eventually got there, after 2 incorrect turns, had a lovely apero and dinner, went for a wander and child #2 met this little creature. It was very cooperative when she was girl handling him. Hesitated about taking a photo of Agathe, the family dog, who probably weighs in heavier than me currently but is the biggest scariedy dog one could ever meet but the portrait didn't do her justice.
