Took a walk up to the Prop of Ythsie near Tarves this afternoon ... these boys followed us (in their own park) from the tower as far as they could down the path ...

According to the plaque on the tower, it was erected in memory of the 4th Earl of Aberdeen by "his attached and grateful tenantry"
