Sunshine on a rainy day

Rainy day today ... headed out in evening with low expectations of getting a decent blip ... then I noticed the raindrops on the petals of this daisy and, just in case I'd forgotten, was reminded why I love photography and why I love blipping ... the very act of looking for things to photograph opens our eyes to things we never pay much attention to normally. Yes, its pretty dull and hasn't got much colour but I think its amazing.

I think that sometimes we forget just how amazing the world is and how much beauty is all around us, regardless of weather so don't let wet weather put you off "skin is waterproof" as a mate of mine used to say - although your camera probably isn't :-)
