2 'blippers' at Anglesey BBQ
Some how DB persuaded me to join her in Anglesey for the Heel Work to Music weekend.
We arrived Saturday morning in the rain and i had to pitch the tent while the dancers strutted their stuff. I was wondering what the heck i was doing, thinking about the 33 other things more interesting/enjoyable i could have been doing. One option was to simply cycle home but i thought 130 miles on A roads was a bit extreme.
So i stayed and luckily things improved.
Went for a drive and walked on a couple of beaches looking for potential fishing spots. Found one but the wind would have made things difficult. Instead i returned to the venue, changed and went for a bike ride. The wind made that difficult too but i still enjoyed it.
Back to the venue and the first day's competition was near an end. A few rosettes had been won by the northern contingent so everyone was in good spirits.
A nice BBQ was had in dryish conditions before we retreated to someones caravan awning to finish off the evening and the wine.
