Traffic Light Jelly

At the tail end of an excellent Chinese buffet lunch to celebrate @VM's birthday the following day, it became apparent that there was even a good choice of desserts with which to finish off. The birthday girl sampled several of the possibilities (and was enthralled by the soft-ice-cream maker: pull a handle, out comes Mr Whippy).

The "Traffic Light Jelly" was one of the first concoctions @VM assembled, with her artistic eye at work alongside her strong digestion. You may spy her painted nails that prove her to be a true artist.

To give an idea of what was on offer, here are the desserts I took:

Some of these jellies;
Fresh melon;
Fresh mango and pineapple slices;
Mango mousse;
Coffee ice cream with chocolate drops and liquorice allsorts sprinkled on top, and finished off with a whirl of soft ice cream.

But I limited myself to this selection, since I am a type-2 diabetic and have to be careful ;=) (!).
