On a mission

Monday dawned as usual. This will be my last Monday at work for three weeks. After this week I go on holidays. Mayo at the weekend, the beach (weather permitting) after that and pottering at home, then Portugal for a week.

Took a walk through the park at lunch where I saw these ducklings venturing out without Mam or Dad. Bought a wee suitcase in The Square and then after work went to Old Mills for a bite to eat. At home, in the never ending effort to knock a few pounds off my pony, took him for a run down the road, but he refused to run, so it was a leisurely stroll in the near dark.

All is well in the world and at The Pike. Time to sleep.
