Paradise on Lake Muskoka - first day

We drove up from Aurora, got some supplies (steaks, beer, wine) in Bracebridge then crossed the water to Pine Island where Mr Toadally's cousines have ther 'cottage'. This is looking from the deck of the cottage down to the boat deck and the boathouse. The boathouse has 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living room & bathroom but we chose to stay all together n the cottage. The lake was 80 degrees F, warm enough for a refreshing swim before dinner. Later on (too late to blip for the day as I still have the camera set to UK time) I got some wonderful sunset shots which are on Flickr.

PS the stairs in the foreground are where I tore the tendons & ligaments in my right ankle on our last visit 6 years ago.
