Where were you?

Having woken up at 4.10am to admire the sunrise I walked a short distance to the summit trig point and was rewarded with beautiful warm sunshine illuminating the surrounding landscape. Mist filled the distant hollows and occasionally crept up onto lower hills. For my two colleagues it was their first time overnighting on a hill and they were ecstatic with excitement. I was happy they were so happy. Off the hill at 6.10am and back in Edinburgh for work at 8.

In terms of work, probably not the most productive ever........
