What a difference a day makes

From the Pentlands in glorious sunshine yesterday, I found myself beside the Lothian Amazon tonight. At least that's where I imagined I was as I walked beside a high and coloured River Almond tonight. It was good news for the salmon and sea-trout that have been stuck in the estuary for many months and there was a steady stream of them jumping the weir just upstream of the photo.

I'm off for two days now, so looking forward to spending some time outside as well as some further wedding planning. Less than five weeks to go now!!
