Extreme sizes

We had a beautiful day today so opted to spend some time on the Columbia River. While we were relaxing in the sunshine we heard a rather large boat tooting his horn...which generally is a warning sign to other boats that might be too close to him. We watched as this little fishing boat didn't do anything to pull anchor...and we decided that he figured he wasn't in the way of the big guy. It just looked that way to us! Turns out the ship was tooting to let everyone around know that he was moving pretty quickly and was pushing quite a bit of water around...as we all found out once his wake hit the shoreline! Quite a roller coaster ride for sure!
