The great British summer.

Two weeks ago we had an open garden and BBQ for my husband's birthday here, and we put out candles expecting to continue till dusk. But this was the beginning of the change in the weather and although fine it was cooler and very windy. This tea light candelabra wasn't used but has remained outside since and you can see that the tea lights are now floating because of all the July rain we have had.

( Not fun - we had a fire alarm at 8.30 am this morning at school and I had no coat and yes it was raining and pretty cold!!)

Good old British summer - you can tell we are coming up to the school holidays.
