Even More Cranes

You may think that I am obsessed with cranes.

Well I am and I am not.

They are elegant machines that change and create unusual shapes and angles. Furthermore, they interact well with their surroundings.

Under the direction of man they appear quite animated, which is difficult to capture on camera, and they can appear to have human characteristics and emotions. Some are brand spanky new, some are old and retired.

But I cannot escape them. From where I sit, in my office, I can see 10 cranes (plus the odd heron). If I walk around Salford Quays I would probably count 20 more on the skyline.

You could say that there are a lot of cranes in my backyard.
