Not A Typical Warsaw Weekend
Woke early, couldn't sleep in the heat but it was just as well because I had offered to do a brunch for the seven I was out with last night. My flat was looking a bit grim, having not seen a hoover or mop for days and so I set about doing that and tidying up before they all descended on me at about 11.30, for the fry-up of all fry-ups. Cezary brought fresh bread and Tony brought a couple of bottles of perfectly chilled fizz, so it turned into a proper champagne brunch!
And then we braved the mid-day heat and went to watch the European Gay Pride parade. A cheeky route-change caught us out though, as we saw them turning off the pre-advertised route in the distance so had to hot-foot it over to another street to watch it all.
It was a colourful, lively, vibrant and diverse spectacle, but a tad hot in the sweltering 40-degree heat. Took a heap of photos - thought some would prompt some blip-mod action though, so settled for some cops instead. We then retired to a bar for some nice cold beers before walking home.
I had my second cold shower of the day, got changed and went back out.
